The Subscriptions tab is where group Administrators manage the group's subscription plan, billing details, payment method, and payment history.
> Important: The Subscriptions tab is only visible to group Administrators.
Overview
A group subscription gives every group member access to the full music library. The Administrator purchases and manages the plan on behalf of all members β individual members do not need their own subscriptions.
Billing is retroactive: the minimum cost for five members is charged immediately, and additional members are billed at the end of each payment period. There is no binding period β payment is monthly.
Opening the Subscriptions tab
> On web: > 1. Open the group in My library. > 2. Click the Subscriptions tab in the group navigation.
> On mobile: > 1. Go to the Groups tab with your group active. > 2. Tap Subscription in the sub-navigation bar.
Your group plans
The top section lists all active subscriptions. Each plan card shows:
- Plan name β the name of the subscription tier.
- Started β the date the subscription began.
- Renewal status β whether the plan auto-renews, is set to cancel, or will resume after a pause.
If there is no active subscription you will see: "This group doesn't have an active subscription right now."
Overview of group benefits
The current plan shows which features are active:

| Create and manage playlists | The group can have shared playlists (Repertoire). Members can view and play; Administrators can create and manage them. |
| Reach new members, make group searchable | The group appears in public search results so new members can find it. |
| Premium features | Additional premium capabilities are enabled for the group. |
Buying a group plan
> Web only: Purchasing a group subscription is done on the web app.
Before purchasing, the group must have a verified contact email. If not set, you will be prompted to add and verify one first.
- Go to the Subscriptions tab.
- Click Buy group plan.
- Review the available plans and select one.
- Fill in your billing details.
- Add a payment method.
- Accept the terms of purchase and click Pay.
After a successful purchase all group members immediately gain access to the music library.
Billing details
Invoices are sent to the group's verified contact email. To update billing details:
> Web only: > 1. Go to the Subscriptions tab. > 2. Click Change billing details or Add billing details. > 3. Update the details and save.
> Note: The contact email must be verified before billing details can be edited. If it is not yet verified, you will be prompted to verify it first.
Changing the payment method
> Web only: > 1. Go to the Subscriptions tab. > 2. Click Change payment method. > 3. Add the new payment method and save.
Viewing payments and invoices
> Web only: The Payments section lists all charges made against the group subscription. The Invoices section lists invoices issued to the group. Both are available on the Subscriptions tab.
Redeeming a discount code
> Web only: > 1. Go to the Subscriptions tab. > 2. Click Redeem discount code. > 3. Enter the code and click Redeem.
Cancelling a subscription
> Web only: > 1. Go to the Subscriptions tab. > 2. Click Cancel subscription next to the active plan. > 3. Confirm the cancellation.
The subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. A final charge covering any outstanding member usage will be made at the end of the period.
Reactivating a cancelled subscription
> Web only: If a subscription has been cancelled but the billing period has not yet ended, go to the Subscriptions tab, click Reactivate subscription, and confirm.
Managing subscriptions from mobile
> Mobile only: Upgrading, cancelling, or managing billing is done on the web app. Contact your organisation's account owner or We Are Voice support for help.
