The Feed is the group's shared message board where members post updates, announcements, and discussions. All group members can read, like, and reply to posts.
Who can post?
By default, every member can create posts. If an Administrator has enabled Only admins can post in group settings, regular members can still read and react to posts but cannot create new ones.
Reading posts
Posts appear in reverse-chronological order (newest first). Scroll down to see older posts.
> On mobile: Pull down to refresh the feed.
Creating a post
> On mobile: > 1. Tap the compose bar or the pencil icon on the feed. > 2. Type your message and optionally attach media. > 3. Tap Post.
> On web: > 1. Click inside the Write a post… field at the top of the feed. > 2. Type your message and optionally click Attach to add an attachment. > 3. Click Publish.
Liking a post
> On mobile: Tap the heart icon below a post to like it. Tap again to remove the like.
> On web: Click Likes below a post to like it.
Replying to a post
> On mobile: Tap the reply icon below a post, type your reply, and tap Send.
> On web: Click Comment below a post to expand the comment field. Type your comment and press the send button.
Replies appear nested under the original post.
Editing or deleting your own post
- Tap or click the ⋯ menu on your post.
- Select Edit or Delete.
- Confirm when prompted.
Deleting a post also removes all its replies. Editing and deleting comments works the same way.
Reporting a post or comment
> Web only: Click the settings icon on a post and select Report. Choose what you want to report, provide a brief description, and submit.
Administrator moderation
Administrators can edit or delete any post in the feed, not only their own. Use the same ⋯ menu to moderate content or remove outdated announcements.
Tips
- Posts show relative timestamps (e.g. "Just now", "2 hours ago", "3 days ago").
- The feed requires an internet connection. On mobile, you may see a cached version when offline but cannot post or interact until your connection is restored.
