Configure how arrangements play back, including default mixer volumes, lyrics display, and timing for synced lyrics and score playback.
How to open Playback settings
> On mobile: Open the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar, then tap Playback in the menu.
> On web: Go to Profile in the navigation, select Settings, then find Playback.
Default mixer settings
> Mobile only: Set default volume levels for each voice type. When you open an arrangement, these defaults are applied automatically to matching voice types — so you do not have to adjust the mixer every time.
- Tap Default Mixer Settings.
- Select a voice type from the picker, or use Quick add to add common combinations:
- SATB — Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass
- Lead/Back — Lead and Background
- Click/Guide — Click track and guide voice
- Bass — Bass voice only
- Drag the volume slider for each voice type to set its default level.
- To remove a default, tap the remove button next to the voice type.
Changes are saved automatically.
Lyrics settings
Choose how lyrics behave by default when you open lyrics in an arrangement. These are your default settings, but you can still make temporary changes per arrangement.
> On mobile: Tap Lyrics Settings, then turn Word by word on or off to highlight lyrics progressively word by word, and turn Countdown on or off to show or hide the countdown before the next lyrics row in longer gaps.
> On web: Turn Word-by-word highlighting on or off to choose whether lyrics highlight each word as it is sung, and turn Next line countdown on or off to choose whether the player shows a countdown before the next lyric line after a longer pause.
Changes are saved automatically.
Audio sync offset
Use Audio sync offset when synced lyrics or score playback feel slightly early or late compared with what you hear. This can happen with wireless headsets, which often add a small delay.
- Find Audio sync offset and select Calibrate.
- Select Start calibration.
- Adjust the Audio sync offset slider until the sound and visual pulse feel aligned.
- Select Stop calibration when you are done.
> On web: Select Save to keep the offset.
Select Reset to 0 ms if you want to remove the offset and return to the default timing.
