> Mobile only: The playback speed control is available in the mobile app.
You can slow down or speed up playback to practise at your own pace. The speed control appears in the player panel below the main playback controls.
Available speeds
| Label | Speed |
|---|---|
| 0.5Γ | Half speed |
| 0.8Γ | Slow |
| 0.9Γ | Slightly slow |
| 1.0Γ | Normal |
| 1.1Γ | Slightly fast |
| 1.25Γ | Fast |
| 1.5Γ | Very fast |
How to change playback speed
- Open an arrangement in the player.
- Find the speed button in the row below the main controls β it shows the current speed (for example, 1.0Γ).
- Tap the speed button to expand the rate selector. The available speeds appear as a horizontal row.
- Tap the speed you want. The selector collapses and playback immediately resumes at the new speed.
Tips
- The selected speed stays active for the current arrangement session. It returns to 1.0Γ when you open a new arrangement.
- Slowing down to 0.5Γ or 0.8Γ is a practical way to learn a difficult passage before building up to full speed.
- Press and hold the Play button for half a second to temporarily jump to 2Γ speed for quick scanning β release to return to your chosen speed.
